Time & Location: 10th November 2026 | 10.30-12.00 (90 minutes), Waterloo, London
Format: A small, peer-level roundtable, moderated and structured around several themes addressing underwriting changes based on telemetry in practice, and where the friction lies between carriers, brokers and insureds.
This meeting is discussion and challenge based. Participants receive a short brief beforehand built around three challenges/claims:
- Data-trust concerns and who carries the liability when underwriting relies on scan data that may be gamed, stale or wrong.
- The role of the broker if continuous monitoring becomes the norm and whether the standard carrier risks disintermediation by whoever owns the data feed.
- Claims considerations and whether the model works industry-wide, particularly for large, complex enterprises rather than just SME.
Participants include:
Charles Perry, Head of Cyber, Berkeley Speciality London
Daniel Carr, Head of Cyber Underwriting, ArielRe
Matthew Hogg, Head of Cyber, Travellers
Daniel Johnson, Class Underwriter Cyber, AEGIS London
